Mediumship
For me, connecting feels a bit like tuning a radio: listening, asking questions, and trying to find the right station. I share that experience with openness about what I do and do not understand.
What to expectMEDIUMSHIP · CURIOSITY · CONNECTION
Welcome to Ghost Consigliere. I am Stella, a medium and endlessly curious human exploring the connections between spirit and everyday life.
Bring your questions. There is room for curiosity here.

THE HUMAN BEHIND THE GHOST
I am Stella Kelley Jones, the woman behind Ghost Consigliere. I reside in beautiful Chautauqua County, Western New York, where I explore life as a medium and lifelong student of consciousness, human connection, and life beyond death.
Mediumship has been part of my life since childhood, long before I had words for what I was experiencing. My curiosity has kept me learning ever since.
I have visited Lily Dale almost every season since 1996. Beyond Lily Dale, I have traveled across the country for lectures and workshops, returning many times to learn from spiritual teachers and presenters in person.
Through my experiences, I have come to understand death as a transition toward connection and reunion. I share that belief to offer reassurance, make mediumship more approachable, and welcome honest questions.
Dead people do tell tales, and ghosts are not afraid to tell the truth. That conviction inspires my volunteer research into unidentified remains cold cases, with a strong preference for cases that have been unresolved for many years. I do not work with the recently deceased. My purpose is to comfort the living, give a voice to the dead, and pursue truth with compassion. Spiritual impressions may inspire questions; factual conclusions require evidence.
I have attended in-person lectures and workshops presented by:
Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, James Van Praagh, Sonia Choquette, Michael Bernard Beckwith, Sylvia Brown, Neale Donald Walsch, Rev. Greg Kehn, Bryan Carlton Flournoy, Rev. Elaine Thomas, John Holland, Michael Tamura, Lisa Williams, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Gregg Braden, Louise Hay, Colette Baron-Reid, Marianne Williamson, Dr. Brian L. Weiss, Dr. Bruce H. Lipton, Dr. Robert Holden, Loretta LaRoche, Caroline Myss, Cheryl Richardson, Reid Tracy, Tara Jungquist, and the Jerry Esther Abraham Hicks group.
These names describe my learning experiences. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement of or affiliation with Ghost Consigliere.

WHAT BRINGS US TOGETHER
Three threads running through
Ghost Consigliere.
For me, connecting feels a bit like tuning a radio: listening, asking questions, and trying to find the right station. I share that experience with openness about what I do and do not understand.
What to expectI attended film school, and I love how immersive film can be. Through YouTube, interviews, and documentary storytelling, I want to capture experiences, conversations, and moments that are difficult to put into words.
Explore my YouTubeMy focus is old, long-unresolved cold cases involving unidentified remains. I only consider cases that have remained unidentified for more than three years, and I am especially drawn to those that have waited much longer. I do not work with the recently deceased.
Spiritual impressions are personal interpretations, not verified evidence. Research and factual claims must be checked independently.
EDUCATION · RESEARCH · ADVOCACY
I do not offer paid readings, mediumship services, or private sessions for hire. Ghost Consigliere is focused on education, research, advocacy, and volunteer cold case research involving unidentified remains that have remained unidentified for more than three years, preferably much longer. I do not work with the recently deceased.
My goal is to explore, document, teach, and demonstrate why I believe that death does not necessarily mean silence. I choose where and how I participate, and I cannot promise contact, answers, or outcomes.
VOLUNTEER COLD CASEWORK
Old and cold is where my interest lies. I only consider unidentified-remains cases that have been unresolved for more than three years, with a strong preference for those unresolved for many years or decades. I do not work with the recently deceased.
No unidentified person is just a case number. Each is a person with a life, a story, and connections to others. That humanity is at the heart of my volunteer work.
I bring research, advocacy, and my interest in mediumship to this work with respect for families and investigators. Intuitive impressions may suggest questions or possible directions to explore; they are never evidence, proof of identity, or a finding of guilt.
My hope is to help keep these people and their stories from being forgotten, while keeping factual research and spiritual interpretation clearly distinguished.
All information I develop through my investigative work would be given directly and exclusively to active law enforcement detectives and investigators. I do not communicate investigative leads to the public, including the victim’s family.
A FEW THINGS YOU MAY WONDER
A Spirit medium is someone who perceives information beyond the five physical senses and can communicate with those who have passed away.
For me, mediumship is not something I suddenly discovered or decided to pursue. I was born into generations of women who had abilities. I have experienced what I understand as mediumship for as long as I can remember, even as a confused child who did not yet have the language to explain what was happening.
I believe that death is a transition rather than an ending, and that the connections we share with one another continue beyond this life.
My goal is to explore those connections, share my experiences, and offer a perspective on death that may bring comfort, curiosity, and a greater sense of connection.
First of all, ghosts bombard me. Constantly!
In my experience, our loved ones are around us far more often than most people realize. They may be sitting beside us at dinner, accompanying us to their jobs, riding in the car, offering advice, or trying to get our attention.
I believe most people have simply learned to tune these experiences out. We live in a society that does not generally teach us to recognize or explore this kind of connection.
And before you ask, your intimate moments are private! Spirit respects our privacy when we are naked, bathing, or sharing intimate time with another person.
But who are all these dead people?
None of them! None of them are dead!
I use words like dead, deceased, and passed away because they are convenient for the grammar. It would be terribly cumbersome to explain my entire understanding of existence every time I mentioned someone whose physical body has died.
Your body is a vehicle. You are the driver.
Imagine that your body is a car. You get into that car and drive it around throughout your lifetime.
Eventually, the car wears out. It breaks down. It can no longer carry you.
But you are not the car.
You simply open the door, get out, and continue existing.
That is physical death. The body stops functioning, but the consciousness that inhabited it continues on into Spirit.
Then that consciousness may eventually choose another vehicle and experience a different life. That vehicle might be a different age, size, color, gender, or even species.
We are all expressions of God and the infinite universe experiencing itself.
Why do you not help with the recently deceased?
I think of the transition back into Spirit much like the transition into physical life.
Consider a newborn baby. They have just arrived in a completely different environment. They must gradually learn how to move, communicate, and navigate this new experience. They require time, care, and assistance. Returning to Spirit involves a similar period of adjustment.
In my understanding, newly transitioned souls may need time to reacclimate, rediscover their abilities, explore the Akashic Records, and become familiar with their surroundings.
I sometimes describe this as them getting their sea legs.
I personally associate the first seven Earth months with this adjustment, although I do not claim to know a universal timetable for what happens after death.
Why do you prefer very old cold cases?
In my personal experience, I rarely establish a recognizable connection with someone whose body has died less than a year ago.
I find that individuals who have been in Spirit longer, at least 3–5+ years, seem easier for me to perceive. My interpretation is that they have had more opportunity to adjust to their existence returned to Spirit.
That is one reason I feel particularly drawn to long unresolved cold cases and Jane & John Doe research.
This is simply how I experience mediumship. I cannot speak for other mediums, guarantee when a connection will become possible, or establish how long any individual needs to adjust.
So, who are all these dead people?
Again, nobody. None of us. Not one of us shall cease to exist.
Our bodies will end. We will change vehicles again, if that is what we choose. We change how we experience existence, but we remain part of the same infinite consciousness, at the same time.
Nobody is ever really gone.
We all still are... just differently.
For me, connecting to Spirit feels a lot like tuning an old-fashioned radio. I know the station is out there, but I need to tune the dial back and forth to find the right channel.
I often begin by asking a series of simple, rapid-fire questions. Hair color, age, relationships, physical appearance, or other seemingly trivial details. Each question helps me adjust the dial until I feel that I have found the person I am trying to reach.
Spirit communication is not a conversation in the traditional sense. For me, information can arrive in mental images, words, sounds, emotions, physical sensations, song lyrics, movie clips, memories, or a sudden sense of knowing.
Sometimes the information is immediately clear. Other times, I receive fragments that need additional questions or context to understand.
I may describe something that makes absolutely no sense to me but is immediately recognizable to you.
My role is to translate the impressions as accurately as I can. It is not important for me to understand what I am talking about. The message is for you.
Every experience is different, and I cannot guarantee a particular connection or outcome.
No. I cannot guarantee that a particular person will come through, nor can I promise specific messages or outcomes.
I approach each connection with an open mind and allow the experience to unfold naturally. Sometimes the person you are hoping to hear from may be the one I perceive. Other times, someone unexpected may come through.
Sometimes you may receive general guidance from a Spirit collective without necessarily identifying each individual.
No. It does not happen that way.
I am not reading your mind. I am receiving communication from Spirit, your dearly departed loved ones, and spiritual guidance. I am not listening to your thoughts.
I cannot see inside your brain, access your memories, or know what you know. I cannot see inside your body, and I do not have access to your private thoughts, experiences, or personal information.
I do experience a form of clairsentience, which means that I may sometimes perceive a physical sensation or emotion that seems to reflect what another person is experiencing.
In the way that you can see that someone is getting upset, or starting to anger. It is just like receiving a quick little sensation as a form of communication.
Think of it as receiving an impression of a feeling rather than reading someone's mind. It is not a way of accessing your private information, and it does not mean I know what you are thinking or what is happening medically inside your body.
Your thoughts are your own. Your memories are your own. Your body is your own.
I am a translator sitting in front of you. That is all.
I connect with all kinds of people regardless of your religious beliefs, spiritual background, or whether you believe in mediumship at all.
I respect that we each have our own experiences, perspectives, and understanding of life and death. You do not need to adopt my beliefs, agree with my interpretations, or change anything about your own faith to explore this practice with me.
I welcome curiosity, thoughtful questions, and healthy skepticism. My intention is not to convince you of anything, but to share my experiences and allow you to decide what, if anything, resonates with you.
Your beliefs are your own, and I respect that.
Absolutely! You are welcome to ask about anything, even if it involves a language, culture, profession, or subject I know nothing about.
You do not need to simplify your questions to accommodate my personal knowledge. Ask what you genuinely want to know in any way you want to ask it. They are listening to you, not hearing you through me.
I will do my best to communicate any impressions I receive, even when I do not understand the meaning. You may recognize something that I cannot, and that is part of what makes the experience interesting.
Financial, technical, or medical information should be independently verified rather than relied upon as professional advice.
I am a translator. That is all.
You can ask me just about anything! I welcome curiosity, unusual questions, and difficult conversations. However, I have some very firm ethical boundaries.
Time and timelines
I do not answer questions about timelines. I cannot tell you how long it has been since something happened, how long it will be until something happens, or provide dates, durations, or timeframes of any kind.
Our human concept of time is an earthbound agreement. From my perspective, and in the way I experience Spirit, everything exists as now. Time simply does not translate for me.
Privacy, spying, and remote viewing
I will not answer questions that violate another person's privacy or confidentiality.
I do not participate in corporate espionage, remote viewing to current-day locations, or spying on individuals, businesses, or government entities. I do not access or disclose information about the present-day activities of living people.
I will not investigate your romantic partner, tell you whether someone is cheating, or attempt to reveal another person's private thoughts, feelings, or relationship dynamics.
If you are that concerned about whether your partner is cheating or lying that you feel the desire to spy on them, I encourage you to pay attention to what you are already feeling. You deserve honesty, trust, and open communication in your relationships.
It does not take evidence to ruin a relationship, only doubt. You already know the answer. You can feel it.
Medical, legal, and personal decisions
I will not predict anyone's death, diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatments, or make important life decisions on your behalf. I will never encourage you to stop taking medication or disregard qualified medical, legal, or mental health professionals.
Criminal investigations and confidentiality
My involvement with unidentified individuals and unresolved criminal investigations is conducted with strict ethical boundaries.
I do not publicly identify suspects, accuse individuals of crimes, or disclose investigative leads to the public, including the victim’s family.
Any information that may lead to an arrest or otherwise assist an investigation is provided directly to active law enforcement detectives and investigators. I do not share that information publicly.
I am an independent volunteer researcher, not a law enforcement officer. My spiritual impressions are personal experiences, not established evidence.
My guiding principle
I do not participate in activities that I consider unethical or immoral. My intention is to approach this with honesty, compassion, and respect for everyone involved, both living and deceased.
Nothing I communicate should ever be considered a substitute for qualified professional advice.
I will never encourage you to disregard the recommendations of your doctor, therapist, attorney, financial adviser, or any other qualified professional.
Sometimes information may come through concerning nutrition, anatomy and physiology, health, finances, or other specialized subjects. I am simply sharing my interpretation of what I perceive. Think of it as a possible direction for you to explore, not a diagnosis, prescription, professional recommendation, or instruction to take action.
I encourage you to do your own research, consult appropriate professionals, and make informed decisions based on what is best for you.
My role is to communicate and interpret impressions, not to make decisions for you. Your health, safety, choices, and personal autonomy are important.
You are the expert of your life.
My mind is a receiver. I am the conduit through which information is interpreted. I am not a container.
I experience significant difficulties with memory retention in general, particularly short-term memory. I receive information, interpret it, and communicate it, but I do not retain much of it at all.
Please do not be offended if we meet again and I do not recognize you. I genuinely struggle with remembering faces, associating names with people, and retaining conversation. You may need to remind me who you are, how we know each other, or whom we know in common.
I apologize if that ever comes across as rude or dismissive. It is certainly not my intention.
I believe that maintaining my connection with Spirit has come at the expense of my ability to store memory. I am a receiver and interpreter rather than a container.
About your confidentiality.
Your privacy is extremely important to me. I treat personal conversations, sensitive information, and the experiences you share with discretion, compassion, and respect. Although I may not remember our conversations, my commitment to your privacy does not depend on my memory.
What about criminal investigations?
My research involving unidentified remains is about helping people regain their names, be claimed, and be returned to their loved ones.
I believe every person deserves the dignity of being identified and the opportunity for their family to hold a homegoing ceremony, celebration of life, or whatever traditions are meaningful to them.
Any potentially relevant investigative information I develop through my research is submitted directly to active law enforcement detectives and investigators. I do not communicate investigative leads to the public, the media, or even the victim’s family.
I am an independent volunteer researcher, not a law enforcement officer. I keep factual research and spiritual interpretations clearly distinguished.
My role is not to judge, accuse, arrest, prosecute, or determine anyone's guilt. Those responsibilities belong to the appropriate authorities.
My intention is always to protect the dignity, privacy, and well-being of everyone involved, both living and deceased.
I do not.
I am not for hire. None of this is transactional. There is no dollar amount I could ever place on the practice, the information I receive, or the connections. I approach this healing practice with great reverence for all things holy. To me, this is priceless.
What is the cost?
I have spent my entire life learning to understand and live with my abilities. I have traveled extensively around the country, attended lectures, participated in classes and workshops, and studied with spiritual teachers. I have also had to reshape my entire lifestyle to accommodate the way I experience the world.
My extrasensory experiences go hand in hand with significant sensory sensitivities. Sights, sounds, smells, temperatures, vibrations, and even being around people can be overwhelming. This is not something I can simply turn on and off. This is who I am.
Most days, I live a very quiet and secluded life. If you see me out advocating, teaching, or connecting with people, you are probably seeing me on an exceptionally good day!
I also experience considerable exhaustion and involuntary twitching following intensive spiritual experiences. Depending on the experience, I may need several days or even weeks to recover.
My journey has included serious health challenges, profound personal hardship, numerous treatments, recovery, and a great deal of spiritual growth. My faith has carried me through.
I walk in prayer. The way I live my life matters just as much as the practice itself. Throughout my life, I have tried to put that into action by opening my home to people in need, volunteering, giving anonymously, and helping others wherever I can.
This is an all-encompassing way of living, and I consider it an honor, even though it is overwhelming.
How can we support the mission?
I gratefully welcome general voluntary donations from anyone who wishes to help me continue this journey.
You can also support this mission by purchasing Ghost Consigliere merchandise, sharing my website, subscribing to my YouTube channel, and helping spread the word.
Donations are never required, and financial contributions do not purchase readings, investigative services, special access, or particular outcomes. None of this is transactional.
My greatest hope is to reach as many people as possible with a message that is deeply meaningful to me: our loved ones are not truly separated from us. Separation is an illusion. Our connections continue beyond physical life.
How could I put a price on that?
Education is one of the things I am most passionate about!
My hope is to use Ghost Consigliere as a place to share what I have learned through a lifetime of exploring mediumship, spirituality, consciousness, and the mysteries surrounding life.
I want to help people better understand the process of death from a spiritual perspective, explore the possibility that our connections continue beyond physical life, and encourage open conversations about subjects that are often misunderstood or avoided.
I am also developing ideas for YouTube documentaries that explore spirituality, historical mysteries, unidentified remains cold cases, and Jane & John Doe research. My intention is to approach these subjects with curiosity, compassion, and a clear distinction between documented facts and spiritual interpretation.
I would love to share my experiences through educational discussions, presentations, and possibly workshops in the future.
Ghost Consigliere is a passion project, not a business. I believe knowledge is meant to be shared, questions are meant to be asked, and learning should never stop.
My research involving unresolved cold cases and unidentified individuals is a deeply personal passion project. I am an independent volunteer researcher, not a law enforcement officer, private investigator, or representative of any investigative agency.
I am particularly drawn to Jane & John Does. These are people who had lives, families, relationships, stories, and names. Somewhere, someone may still be wondering what happened to them.
I believe every person deserves to have their identity restored, their dignity preserved, and their story treated with compassion and respect.
My hope is that more unidentified individuals can be named, claimed, and returned to their loved ones so that families may finally have answers and the opportunity to honor them with a homegoing ceremony, celebration of life, or whatever traditions are meaningful to them.
My research involves examining public records, comparing documented information, exploring possible connections, and bringing potentially useful findings to the attention of the appropriate authorities.
My spiritual experiences may inspire questions or suggest directions for further research, but they are not established evidence. I keep spiritual interpretation and verifiable factual research clearly distinguished.
When my research produces information that may be relevant to an unresolved case or the identification of an unknown person, I submit it directly to the detectives and investigators responsible for that case.
Submitting information to law enforcement does not mean that I am officially affiliated with an agency, that investigators have endorsed my methods, or that my findings have been verified.
I respect the investigative process and the professionals responsible for conducting it. I do not conduct official criminal investigations or publicly accuse suspects.
My purpose is not to replace law enforcement or claim credit for solving a case.
I simply want to help give the dead back their name.
Absolutely. I understand that behind every unidentified person is a family, a community, and a story that deserves to be heard.
Families are welcome to contact me, share their loved one's story, or provide information they believe may be relevant. I will approach every conversation with compassion, discretion, and respect.
However, I have very firm boundaries regarding investigative information. I do not share potential leads, research findings, spiritual impressions, or information that could affect an active investigation with families or the public.
Any potentially relevant investigative information goes directly to the law enforcement detectives and investigators responsible for the case.
This is not because I wish to exclude families. It is because unverified information can cause unnecessary distress, create false hope, or interfere with an investigation. I believe families deserve accurate information delivered through the appropriate authorities.
I cannot promise to identify an unidentified person, solve a case, provide investigative updates, or obtain answers from law enforcement on anyone's behalf.
What will you share on your website, social media, and YouTube?
I may share educational documentation, discuss historical mysteries, highlight unresolved cases, and raise awareness about unidentified individuals.
Any case information I share publicly will be limited to information already lawfully available to the public, such as official unidentified-person bulletins, publicly released records, and information published by law enforcement.
I will carefully distinguish documented facts from spiritual interpretations.
I do not publish confidential findings, reveal potential suspects, or share information that could compromise an investigation. I also do not release investigative updates on behalf of law enforcement.
Public awareness and private investigative research serve two very different purposes.
My goal is to educate, encourage awareness, and help unidentified individuals regain their names without compromising their dignity or the integrity of an investigation.
Above all, I want families to know that their loved ones matter. Every Jane & John Doe deserves to have their name and dignity restored.
